Yes, another original pokemon trainer application xd My art is nothing but pokemon lately! But it's a lot of fun. Gets me to draw things I normally wouldn't think of. Feel free to read the long description below about everyone.

Trainer Info:

Kris is a rather laid-back sort of girl. That’s not to say she doesn’t have her moments of panic or stubbornness, but she generally tries to go with the flow, and is agreeable in a group. Outside of battles, she avoids conflict; however, she will speak her mind should someone hit the right nerve. But on any average day, she’s more likely to strike up a friendly conversation with those around her, or find a quiet spot to read a book. In battle, she’s very encouraging toward her pokemon, and tries to keep a calm exterior - even if she’s feeling unsure of herself. She has confidence in her skills, but realizes she also has room for improvement.

Currently Kris lives in Fuchsia City, where she works in the city’s Safari Zone. In addition to being an active trainer, she’s always had interest in the behavior and general knowledge of pokemon. So it was only natural to select such a career where she could work with and observe pokemon in a more natural setting. Participating in the first UBF tournament, however, has strengthened Kris’ self-confidence, and prompted her to spend even more of her free time training her pokemon. She brought a new team this time around, save for one tournament veteran, to shake things up and give more of her companions tournament experience.

Pokemon Info:

Gary: A rather childlike and carefree Flygon, he loves to just have fun – and occasionally has to be reminded to pay attention to what he’s doing. He often comes across as naïve, but don’t let that smile fool you – when Kris can get him to focus in battles (Or if the opposing pokemon happens to insult him in some way), he is a force to be reckoned with. Maybe he just likes to fool others into believing he doesn’t know what he’s doing.

Guy: Like most canines, Guy is as loyal as they come, and a generally friendly pokemon. When it comes to Kris and his team mates, however, he will get protective and use whatever force is necessary to ensure their safety. On the field he is quick, and a heavy hitter. But for some reason, he has the most illogical fear of grass types…

Abyss: On the field, he is calculating and battle savvy; off the field, he likes to have fun occasionally pushing his team mates’ buttons. Myst is his favorite target, and his weapon of choice is laying on the intentionally excessive charm. And when he’s not trying to woo the ‘chu for fun, he enjoys talking up his battle skills. But deep down he’s a good guy, and looks out for those he thinks favorably of.

Myst: Although she’s generally friendly and pleasant to be around, Myst is not afraid to let you know when she’s irritated (Which can happen as suddenly as a lightning strike, and may be either verbal or physical). Abyss, of course, is most often the cause of such outbursts, but somehow the two still manage to work well together when the need arises. She is dependable in battle, and has a stubborn streak that keeps her from backing down.

Jin: Angry about being left behind when Kris travelled to the first UBF tournament, the then meowth demanded to be trained upon her return (Up until that point, he hadn’t participated in many battles). It wasn’t long before Jin evolved, grew aggressive, and really began to hone his skills (He still has trouble with Thunderbolt though, and uses his scarf to get a static charge built up). He and Abyss seem to be in their own competition to prove who the bigger badass is.

Mike: This shuckle was given to Kris as a gift by a trainer of the same name for the progress she made in the first UBF tournament. Shuckle-Mike took to Kris immediately, and acts rather affectionately toward her (She tries her best not to flinch at the slimy hugs…). Whether this behavior is because of Trainer-Mike’s instruction or is simply a coincidence is unclear. In battle, Shuckle-Mike exhibits an oblivious overconfidence toward his opponents. That is, until the opposing pokemon starts to attack – then he’s easily intimidated. With some encouragement, however, he can generally be talked through his panic and hold his own.
