Goodness this took awhile, worked off and on. Plus Photoshop starting hating the file toward the end and was working at snail's pace lol. Contest entry for ~pokemorphs's battle contest!

Cain is the zapdos, Kei is the articuno. They're fighting cos.. the legendary birds hate each other. Yeah. Pokemon belong to gamefreak, image/Cain to me, Kei to a friend.

Great attention to detail. You don't know how many times I see avian people with no holes in their shirt. Bugs the hell out of me. The Thunderblade is an awesome touch too-but for a split second, I thought Kei was taping on his communicator to transform into a power ranger!

Then I saw it was an ice shield, and everyone was happy. I DEMAND MORE ACTION sequences like this for our viewing pleasure!
